How Can I Change the Payment Method for Automatic Renewal?
Manage your subscription payments with ease
1. Understanding Manual Payments
A manual payment is required for a subscription to be created for the next period for any domain or hosting plan. This ensures that your account remains active and that you can manage your payment methods effectively.
2. Managing Your Subscription
You can always view and/or cancel any subscription from your Control Panel. To do this, hover your mouse over your name in the top right corner of your account and select the Recurring option. This section provides an overview of your active subscriptions.
3. Available Payment Methods
If you want to keep the subscription but only change the funding source, go to the same Recurring section and click on the Change button.
A small pop-up will appear, allowing you to select your preferred payment method:
- PayPal
- FirstData (for all credit and debit cards)
- WorldPay (for American Express cards)
4. Finalizing the Change
Once you’ve selected your payment method, you will be forwarded to the payment page, where you need to submit a payment for $0.00. This manual payment serves as an authorization to charge you automatically when your plan or domain is due.
