How can I login to SiteStudio?

SiteStudio Information

Using SiteStudio

SiteStudio is a site-building tool available through your hosting Control Panel. However, it’s not included with all hosting plans. To check if you have access to SiteStudio:

  • Look for the SiteStudio link under Web Tools > Site Builder in your Control Panel's top menu.
  • If you don’t see this link, you can purchase SiteStudio as an upgrade.

Building a Website with SiteStudio

SiteStudio allows you to easily create professional-looking websites using a variety of user-friendly templates.

Accessing SiteStudio

To access SiteStudio:

  • Navigate to Web Tools > Site Builder in your Control Panel.
  • If SiteStudio shows as "Not Active," click the Activate button to enable it for your account.

Logging In

After activation, you’ll see an auto-login drop-down menu where you can select the domain for which you want to build a website. Choose your domain and click Auto Login to start working on your site with SiteStudio.

Alternatively, you can log in manually:

  • This will take you to a login form where you need to enter your domain name (as the username) and your default FTP password (as the password). This password is usually the same as your Control Panel password.

Troubleshooting

Be aware that if you select a domain that already has an active website or contains files in its root directory—especially system files like .htaccess—you might encounter problems. To avoid this:

  • Ensure that you remove any files from your domain’s root folder before logging into SiteStudio to build and publish your website.
