How to Edit the MX Records for a Domain
Category: Domains and DNS
Each domain hosted in this account has two MX records by default, which point to our mail server.
In case you have your own mail server or wish to use a third-party mail server to handle your emails, you will need to point the MX records for the domain to the external mail server's MX records.
Note: The highest priority corresponds to 1, and the lowest corresponds to 100.
Steps to Edit MX Records:
- Go to My Domains > DNS Records.
- Find the domain in the list below and click on it to expand its details.
- Replace the existing mx1 and mx2 with the new ones.
- When ready, click the "Modify" button to update the values.
