How to Set Up Custom Email Filters

Setting Up Custom Email Filters in Your Control Panel
To set up email filters for any email account, head to the Email Manager (Email > Filters) section of your Control Panel. Here, you can add, edit, or remove filters with ease.
Steps to Create a New Email Filter
- Navigate to the Email Manager and click on Create a new email filter on the right.
- You'll be taken to a page where you can configure your custom email filters with various options.
Email Filter Options
Below is a breakdown of each filtering option available:
Where | Description |

from | Filter by sender's email address. |
to | Filter by recipient's email address. |
cc | Filter by email addresses in the CC field. |
subject | Filter by subject line of the message. |
headers | Filter by email headers, including sender and subject. |
message body | Filter by message content. |
message body'end | Filter by specific content at the end of the message body. |
reply address | Filter by the reply-to address. |
return path | Filter by the undeliverable return address. |
Filter Conditions
Select a condition to define how the text will match the specified location:
- contains: Text must be contained in the specified location.
- does not contain: Text must not be in the specified location.
- is: Text must match exactly.
- is not: Text must not match exactly.
- begins: Text must start with the specified words or phrase.
- ends: Text must end with the specified words or phrase.
Define Actions
Choose an action for messages matching the filter:
- Delete: Permanently delete the filtered messages.
- Redirect: Forward the filtered messages to a specified email address.
- Move to Folder: Move the filtered messages to a designated folder.
Specify the target Email (for redirection) or Folder (for moving) in the dropdown menu.

Save Your Filter
After configuring your filter, click on Add a Filter to save it. All your filters will appear in the dropdown of each email, organized by email address. You can also edit, move, or delete filters as needed.
