Limits and Restrictions for Outgoing Emails
Your guide to understanding email sending limits in our shared hosting environment.
Email Sending Limits
To maintain a high quality of service and fast delivery, we impose the following limits on outgoing emails:
- 150 emails per hour;
- 1500 emails per 24 hours;
- 50 recipients per message; Each recipient counts as a separate email sent.
- Mailing list restriction: 1500 emails for 24 hours without an hourly limit.
If you exceed these limits, you will encounter the following error:
550 – Stop, you are sending too fast!
You can resume sending emails once the hour or day resets.
Avoiding Email Limit Exceedance
To avoid exceeding your email limits, please consider the following:
- The email restrictions apply to the entire hosting account, not individual mailboxes. If one mailbox exceeds the limit, all accounts will be affected.
- Upon receiving the above error, cease all sending attempts immediately. Continuing to send will cause messages to queue up, delaying future email sending until the queue clears.
