Problems with Sending Emails
Category: Emails
Webmail
If you’re experiencing issues with sending emails via our Webmail client, RoundCube, ensure that your email account is configured to use our mail servers.
- Go to My Domains > DNS Records in your Web Hosting Control Panel.
- Verify that the MX records are set to our mail servers. If they have been altered, click Revert to reset them.
- Allow up to 2 hours for DNS propagation. If the issue continues, open a support ticket.
Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail, and Other Email Clients
Common Issues
Sending issues may vary by email client. Here are potential causes and solutions:
- Error 550: Relay Not Permitted: Ensure authentication settings are correctly configured. Refer to our guide on resolving the “550 - Relay Not Permitted” error.
- Connection Terminated: Some ISPs block the default SMTP port 25. Switch to port 2525 to avoid interruptions. See our article for step-by-step instructions on changing the SMTP port.
Web Contact Forms
If your PHP or Perl contact form isn’t sending emails, please ensure correct configuration. Refer to our contact form troubleshooting guide for help.
FrontPage Contact Forms
For FrontPage forms, configure email settings via phpmail(). See our FrontPage email setup guide for complete instructions.
