SiteStudio is a visual website building tool that is integrated within your Web Hosting Control Panel. If SiteStudio is included in your web hosting plan, you can access it easily through the Web Tools > Site Builder section. If it’s not included, you can upgrade your plan to add this powerful tool.

Accessing SiteStudio

To start creating your website, use the automatic login option available in the Web Tools > Site Builder section. Once logged in, you can choose between creating a "Personal" or "Business" website, each having different page options.

Creating Your Website

Follow these steps to create a simple personal website using SiteStudio:

1. Select Personal for your website category after logging in.
2. Choose a template that suits your style, considering the different color schemes and layouts available.
3. Enter your name, email address (must be hosted in your account), and website name. You can also add keywords and a description for SEO purposes, which can be edited later in the Site Settings.
4. If desired, add a "Splash Screen" or "Flash Splash" for your website. Some templates may not offer this feature.
5. Use the Site Map menu to view all added pages, each with icons to Edit, Settings, or Delete. Click the "Edit" icon to modify any page.
6. For rich text editing, click the "Launch full screen rich editor" link. SiteStudio uses a WYSIWYG editor, compatible with most browsers except for Internet Explorer 8.
7. Change settings like file name, font, color, meta tags, and descriptions through the Settings tab. Note the image upload requirements: recommended size is around 100 KB and 400x500 pixels, and file names must not contain spaces.
8. Once your website is complete, save your SiteStudio project. Remember, there are no automatic backups for SiteStudio projects; you must save your work using the "Load/Save website" option. Finally, click on the Publish button to make your website live.
